General Security Awareness:
Most people are not aware of the dangers of internal/external hacking and/or Social Engineering or general ‘good security practice’. We offer in house education and seminars on:
• The dangers of instant messaging within the workplace
• Password creation and awareness program
• Safekeeping and disposal of documents. (Shred, protect yourself from dumpster diving!)
• Home security: Personal Firewalls, Cable Modems and DSL
• How to avoid giving away information to strangers (social engineering)
Virus and Email Education 101:
The most important resource is the people of your corporation. These same people are the ones who typically release viruses on your network. We can give them a higher understanding through virus protection education. In layman’s terms, we’ll teach them how viruses work, how they spread and most importantly, how to avoid infection.
