In 1995, two young students got together with the idea to take advantage of the new emerging medium known as the internet. Three months later, Millworks, Inc. was formed. Focusing primarily on the Recruiting industry, Millworks, Inc. rapidly grew in size and revenues, eventually leading to the realization that new markets had to be explored in order to allow continued growth. Following the establishment of a Kansas City office in 1997, a corporate reorganization was undertaken. In the June of 1997, in the midst of the reorganization, AmplTEK Group, a conglomerate based in Omaha, NE acquired Millworks, Inc., creating a technology company strong in vision and technology.

The result of this merger was the creation of AmplTEK Global Technology Services, a leading provider of Internet, Database, Networking, Security, and Database services to the Midwest. With locations in four states, AmplTEK brings forth the ability to provide on-site services in a timely manner.
